Besides her career as a stuntwoman, Syndey Olson has been training for over 8 years in Parkour. She is a sponsored freerunning athlete with Tempest Freerunning and trains at the Tempest Freerunning Academy South Bay gym in Hawthorne, California. She is also a freerunning coach.
Before moving to Los Angeles, Sydney attended the University of Missouri and worked as a nursing assistant in Port Orchard, Washington. After coming to Los Angeles she was able to train with her hero, Luci Romberg, who is both a freerunner and a stunt performer and Luci has become her mentor.
Sydney Olson is known for her work on No Good Gang Girls (2018), Slingshot (2018) and Bound By Movement (2019). Bound By Movement (2019) is a documentary directed by stuntman and professional parkour athlete, Jesse La Flair. The documentary is about the world’s best parkour athletes as they travel to the edge of possibility, risking their lives to create a film about doing what they love.
Sydney has also worked with other athletes including tennis star Agnieszka Radwanska with whom she shot a commercial.
