STUNTWOMEN – The Untold Hollywood Story is based on the best-selling book by Mollie Gregory. The film introduces us to the secret stars who provide the action and thrills that make the best Hollywood movies and TV.

“Wigging” is a film industry term that describes the practice of male stunt performers standing in for women on gags. “Painting down” is its cousin, in which White stunt performers stand in for actors of color. Veteran stunt performer Deven MacNair has made it her mission to speak out against these practices and demand change.

Model and actress, Levy Tran made her acting debut in the Fast and the Furious’ franchise and has recurring roles in The Haunting of Hill House (2018) on Netflix, and in Shameless on Showtime. She plays Desi, a former military operative, on CBS's MacGyver (2019) using her martial arts skills.

Stuntwoman Reshma Pathan is the body double for almost all film actresses in the 1970s and 1980s in Hindi film industry. By the early seventies she had gained recognition for her work. Her work as the body double for Hema Malini in Ramesh Sippy’s blockbuster Sholay (1975) made Pathan an overnight celebrity in the stunt industry.
